For a first trijam after just 1 week of gamedev, it's very good. But indeed, it's very hard. I don't think I've managed more than fifteen points.
If you want to make music, I suggest you check out beepbox.co (personally, I'm not a music pro, but it lets me make cool stuff pretty easily).
